D-Shock released a new watch series to its Japanese market called the Rescue yellow series featuring the Mudman, Gravitymaster, and Rangeman sporting fluorescent yellow bands and black bezels. I hope these come to the United States, but there’s no official word yet.
Unlike the banana yellow of previous iterations of G-Shock watches, the yellow of this series has a fluorescent tint that matches much of the gear that firefighters and first responders wear on their jackets and helmets. The color shows up prominently in your peripheral vision which is good for the wearer’s safety on busy work areas like disaster scenes.
So stay tuned. If G-Shock releases them here, I’ll let you know!
