So my Rite in the Rain Metal Readiness Pen has two new little brothers, the Mini-Bolt Pens. And they’re twins. It’s funny because my Rite in the Rain was gifted to me by my little brother. But he isn’t a twin, thank Goodness!
Where the Metal Readiness pen has a beastly pocket clip, the Mini-bolts have burly pocket clips. The Metal Readiness pen is pretty long, the Mini-bolts are diminutive. While the mini-bolts have subtle texturing for grip, the Metal Readiness has deep cuts that keep that pen firmly in your sweaty grip, even while stabbing the window smashing tip aggressively.
The Mini-bolts are plastic, but the plastic seems durable. The tip is brass.
