Guys are always asking me about my G-Shock toolbox and how to get one. It’s only available from the GShock.com points program. However, I found another option for the unbranded version directly from the toolbox manufacturer!

Rainbows on my MIP screen!
I took my G-Shock MIP Square into direct sunlight for the first time since its chaotic unboxing, and my impression of its clarity has changed. Rainbows were all over the screen. The GWXB5600 reflected sunlight in such a way that rainbow patterns ghosted all over the field of view.
What happened?
G-Shock GWXB5600 — Chaotic Unboxing
We demanded that Casio take the G-Shock square and update the screen from the standard LCD to the modern MIP. That’s it. Don’t change anything else. It took them several years and many attempts, but finally they released the GWXB5600 last year. After which we in the United States had to wait until now for them to bring it to our market.
I got one! I picked up positive screen variant, the GWXB5600-1. It’s also available in a negative screen, the GWXB5600-1A1. Right after I clicked BUY it went out of stock. So they must be bringing them over one pallet at a time.
Casio F91WF – Chaotic Unboxing
Casio took their legendary F91W, installed adapters, and ran a nato strap through them. The result is the Casio F91WF, where the F stands for “fabric.” I picked one up because the advantage of that fabric strap is longer length. I cannot wear the standard F91W because the band is too small.
So in that light, maybe the F stands for “fat.”
