How does $800 sound for G-Shock’s new Chronograph G-Steel watch, the GMC-B2100D? That’s the price the Kay Jeweler’s Outlet site has this unreleased timepiece listed. This was reported by G-Central.
We looked at the GMC-B2100D when the beans were first spilled about this one. While still being a rumored watch, we wondered two things: what is the caseback, and how much will it cost?
The GD-010 elicited some great comments from you gentlemen which I responded to in this YouTube video. Not only were your responses astute, but you asked great questions that we’ll investigate in upcoming episodes.
G-Shock’s newest G-Steel watch rings in at $300, which I found to be a good deal, and bagged it. Nonetheless, many of my YouTube commenters alleged the price was too high.
Now I’m not going to sit here and tell you that 300 bucks is cheap. But when you compare the it to other watches G-Shock offers, you can see it fits right in nicely.
For $300 you can get into G-Shock’s sophisticated G-Steel line with the newly released GM-2110D. This “Church Watch,” as I call it is totally clad in metal. The bezel is metal, the bracelet is metal, the indices are metal. The dial is available in 5 different colors, one of which is metal!
How about the watch’s case, is it metal? No. It’s plastic.
Casio brought a lot of innovation to the outdoors watch world with the bungie cord band on the ProTrek PRJ-B001-B2, but it might leave some watch wearers confused. After all, it’s a one of a kind watch with a versatile strap. But it’s so different you might forget how to even put it back on! So I made a tutorial video and demonstrated how to don the watch. My wife Denise helped try it on too.
G-Shock released their new steel Casioak to the American market Thursday. The GM2110D went up for sale in 5 different colors: green, orange, light blue, navy blue, and clear-coat steel. This non-connected, non-solar G-steel ani-digi watch is priced at $300.
Of course, I picked one up. I got it in Navy Blue because that’s what a huge majority of my viewers chose in the poll on my YouTube. And I had it rush delivered so I can wear it to church on Sunday.
So stay tuned for the upcoming Navy Blue review. But until then enjoy the live unboxing video above. A commenter just reported that he counted me saying “alright” over 100 times. I don’t know about that. I think there’s at least 200 of them. How many did you count?
Breitling unveiled 32 limited edition Chronomat B01 42 models, and it just so happens each one has a different color on the dial that corresponds to an NFL team’s official Pantone color. Dadgum it! Does the NFL know this? There’s no way this could be a coincidence.
Hold up. I squinted and looked closer. Each one of these luxury chronographs has a picture that looks exactly like the NFL teams’ logos. Right there on the left subdial. Outrageous. I expect this from Chinese knockoffs. Not preeminent Swiss watchmakers!
