The mud’s been real quiet since I unboxed the G-Shock Mudmaster GWG-B1000. This flagship watch of G-Shock’s Master of G lineup of super tough outdoors watches has been out of reach for me and my budget for some time. But after saving up, I finally got it! And what do I think?

There’s no question what time it is. The G-Shock Gravitymaster GR-B300 displays the time with excellent legibility with big bold white hands and indices. You will be able to read it. Even in low light. It’s a watch for pilots, and that is exactly what I am.
G-Shock still lists the GM-500A for sale on its website, yet it warns that there’s “Limited Stock.” According to Shockbase.org, this model was released in 2013. And it’s still available. But for how long?

You know how much I love the G-Shock Mudman GW-9500. It’s just so dadgum tough. But G-Shock added a metal bezel and amped up the color with a yellow band like the firemen wear. It’s the GW9500MRY1A9, the Mudman in Rescue Yellow. So, yea, I bough it! And what do I think?
