Family Separations at the border and Israel

Today the media made a huge effort to make us feel guilty about illegal alien families getting separated on our southern border. Meanwhile Israel launched air strikes over their border fence into Gaza.

Let’s take a moment to analyze the blatant hypocrisy.

Today’s sudden inundation of news articles about illegal alien children is a concerted effort to elicit your empathy. You’re supposed to feel sad to see children stripped from parents and locked in cages, as if you’re responsible for their plight.

Why? Because you’re a white Christian.

Hilary Clinton went as far as to evoke Jesus Christ. The Washington Examiner reported:

At an awards lunch for the Women’s Forum of New York, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee called out “those who selectively use the Bible” to give grounds for the separations, which were reported by the Department of Justice on Friday.

“I went to a lot of years of Sunday school — even taught it from time to time. I’ve studied both the Old and New Testament, and what is being done using the name of religion is contrary to everything I was ever taught,” Clinton said. “Jesus said, ‘Suffer the little children unto me.’ He did not say, ‘Let the children suffer.’”

So the gist of this massive campaign is to get you to accept entire illegal alien families into the United States. It’s your Christian obligation! You can’t build a wall on your border. Jesus said so.

Okay, now what about the Jews in Israel? They launched missiles into Gaza. You know missiles, right? They blow stuff up and kill people.

CNN reported that the Israel Defense Force ordered air-strikes on Monday because Palestinians have been launching kite-mounted incendiary devices into Israel. From CNN:

The use of kites by Gazan demonstrators has increased significantly in recent weeks, and is part of a months-long protest movement along the fence separating Gaza and Israel, in which more than 120 Palestinians have been killed.

Whoa! Did you catch that?! “The fence separating Gaza and Israel” God’s chosen people erected a physical barrier to keep unwanted people out of the Holy Land. But that would be immoral for us Christians!

Then there’s the fact that 120 human beings created in God’s image have been killed. That’s terrible. They’re dead, meaning they’re permanently separated from their parents.

But never mind them. We Christians are supposed to feel grief that a poor Honduran child is housed separately from her mom while they temporarily wait to receive a lifetime of welfare checks.

Guys, I’m not surprised at this vicious double standard. After all, the Lord Jesus Christ ranted against Jewish hypocrisy in Matthew chapter 23. What really bothers me is the Evangelical reaction to each of these scenarios.

Evangelicals who oppose illegal immigration generally do so secretly and sheepishly. Too many church leaders fall for the compassion bait of this immigration scam. Opposing it would rock the boat.

At the same time way too many rank and file Evangelicals loudly applaud Israel when they kill Palestinians. Honestly it’s kind of sick. It’s like, okay, you think a nation is justified to use dramatically disproportionate violence to secure its borders? Ok, let’s do the same.

If God’s Chosen People can launch missiles into their neighbor’s territory, we can too. For every drunk driving illegal alien that kills an American, we will send a Tomahawk Cruise Missile into Mexico.
